Ah Ethiopia, our old fruity friend.
This natural Ethiopian offers soft nectarine and peach flavours and remains delicate from start to finish but with a chewy body if you up the coffee to water ratio. If you’re patient enough these flavours really open up once the coffee starts to cool.
We've been enjoying this coffee early afternoon or as a nice easy wake up call when we get into work.

This coffee comes from a group of farmers in the Sidama region of Southern Ethiopia. Changes to export laws in Ethiopia means small producers can now market their coffee directly, but this is still a big challenge and few have access to the capital to make this happen. Falcon, one of our green bean suppliers, pre-financed this coffee order to ensure the farmers weren’t forced to sell their coffee locally for cash.
This year, Buriso Amaje has been assigned as the leader for this group of farmers. This coffee was processed and dried at Buriso’s family home.
