As well as being a supple little thirst quencher, we love this coffee from Timor because it’s also perhaps the most transparent coffee we’ve had in the roastery. The couple who import this coffee work directly with the farmers in-country for six months of the year and give us a full breakdown of costs, highlighting that the farmers are not only paid fairly, but that there are no unnecessary ‘middle-men’ costs - which is a big industry wide problem.
Timor is an unsung coffee region and this lot seriously delivers the goods when it comes to quality and flavour. We’re mad keen on this coffee, go check it.
