David Estrada’s farm called Café Kopper is located in Poas in the Central Valley at 1,600 masl. David is focused on producing the highest percentage of specialty grade out of his farm. He grows about 20 varieties on 35 hectares.

The Geisha plants were introduced to the farm in 2018-19 season and have produced for the first time in 2020-2021 harvest.

David is a member of Coope Victoria and takes his lots to the coop for processing and marketing. Coope Victoria was established in 1943 in Grecia, nestled in the Central Valley of Costa Rica. Starting out with the objective of servicing small producers of coffee and sugar cane in the region, it is now, like many coops in Costa Rica, a real community that offers a multitude of services to its members. From providing medical assistance, education, to machinery service and financial services, the Coope now also runs projects centered on women and youth empowerment.

They also produce their own compost that they supply to their members, they recycle energy into green energy, 80% less dangerous for the environment than conventional

When will I get my coffee?

We roast coffee fresh on a weekly basis, and post on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
