Mad Cucumber – Vegan Lounge Bournemouth was established in 2013, by a Polish couple – Kamil and Ewelina. Inspired and wanting to bring positive changes to the sunny seaside town of Bournemouth, the quirky café was born. With the help of family and friends, the space that once held a hair salon was transformed into a rustic vegan lounge.
In April 2023 Federica and Marcello, who met at the café a year before, joined forces and took over the running business of this unique vegan lounge in Bournemouth. Putting together strong experience in customer service & dedicated vegan cooking skills, the two friends try to bring their fresh Italian touch to the well-established Mad Cucumber with the support of their great team.
