New Bad Hand organic single origin coffee

Say hello to Honduras! This fresh, fruity, organic single origin coffee was grown on a 2 hectare farm by Nely Suyapa Orellana.

Nely owns her farm, calling it Las Gemelas ('The Twins') as a tribute to her twin daughters. She's in her second year of producing micro-lots there as part of Falcon's Speciality Agronomy Project.

The Specialty Agronomy Project was launched by ethical coffee supplier Falcon, in partnership with the small co-operative Aurco. The scheme focuses on collaboration and skill sharing to produce high quality micro-lots of coffee.

Falcon provides training, technical support and expertise to 25 small-scale coffee producers, such as Nely, in the Copán region of Honduras. The farmers are also given access to specialty markets and quality price premiums.

And when it comes to the coffee itself, what we really love about this particular single origin (aside from its ethical production methods, obvs) is its syrupy body, boozy mango sweetness and a peach finish. It's bloody delicious.
