Whether you have a home espresso machine and want to get the best from it, or you’re interested in gaining a deeper understanding of how espresso is extracted, we’ve opened up our barista training, a workshop on making a decent cup of the good stuff.
We'll be diving into the theory and technique behind brewing coffee and steaming milk so that what you learn is applicable on any home espresso machine. In the workshop, we will be using commercial espresso machines to maximise the amount of practice time everyone gets!
We’ll look at grinding coffee and how to determine the right grind size, how to get your espresso pulling correctly, how to texture milk, and start learning how to pour all that fancy, delicate latte art on your coffees at home.

No. The course suits anyone with a home espresso machine who wants to get the best from it, or who'd like a deeper understanding of how espresso is extracted.
Which machines will I use?
You will be learning the theory of espresso brewing and milk steaming on a commercial machine. All of which is applicable to any home espresso machine.
